A WEEKEND WITH IM-1776 SPONSORED BY CALAMO PRESS (individual ticket)
We are approaching the final weeks of a presidential election that will have a titanic impact on the future. The homestretch of the campaign is a time of anticipation, anxiety, and a peculiar kind of excitement. It's a time when many find themselves teetering on the edge, nerves frayed, minds racing. In this moment of political brinkmanship, there's a compelling case for celebration—a collective exhale in the face of the unknown.
So, let's come together not to forget our worries but to embrace them, and to toast to the future — whatever it may hold. Because whatever the future holds, we will face it together as friends and allies.
Join us for a weekend to remember where we'll not only celebrate the end of one chapter in our history but also the beginning of whatever comes next. We mark this time in our lives by creating a brilliant memory of ourselves shining bright in the face of darkness, like a torch in the night. And what better place to do it than at the cradle of our beloved Republic, the Virginia Piedmont, home to Jefferson, Madison, and Monroe, some very fine people.
Festivities begin Friday with a welcome reception at the beautiful Trump Winery.
"Does anyone know I own a house in Charlottesville? It is the winery. It is one of the largest wineries in the United States. It is in Charlottesville" - President Donald J Trump
Guests will enjoy Virginia oysters on the half shell, local cheeses and cured meats and Trump's award-winning wines. The event will feature a panel discussion of the election's impact on America's future with the IM Team and authors of publishing house Calamo Press.
Calamo's fall and winter publishing line-up includes:
No Second Amendment, No First by John Zmirak
Reshore: The Plan to Bring our Jobs Home and Revive the American Dream by Spencer Morrison
Rich Higgins: The Modern Paul Revere Who Tried To Warn America (collecctors edition of The Memo)
Judases: How The GOP Backstabbed Trump and Betrayed its Voters by Emerald Robinson
Then on Saturday evening, our marquee event. We will gather at a private, Charlottesville estate for a black-tie soirée featuring live jazz music, dancing, dinner, and libations.
*ticket includes plus one. Plus one must be your spouse or date. If you plan to bring a friend, you must purchase individual tickets.
